CDivertiamo introduces the well-known Italian designer Ernesto Esposito as the new head of Rayne London style office, starting with SS17. Ernesto, who comes from Naples, is respected among shoe designers the world over. Before embarking on this new artistic adventure, the designer will focus on rebuilding the brand’s DNA, studying its impressive heritage and style.
“Rayne has that typical British good taste, a little crazy and ironic, which we find for instance in Barry Lyndon” says the designer. “The Brits are eccentric people who love tradition and express themselves by wearing shoes which are both strong and specific in design, almost detached from everyday life.
